The band 'LOL'ISM! Oops LALISOM, the superstar
mohanlals music band which was paid around 2 crores by the government for
performing in national games even though they hadn't performed a single event
before. The band consists of huge demanded singers along with music
director"Ratheesh Vega" had cheated over millions of people including
die hard fans of these stars.
The reports states that as the Mohanlal were the
official ambassador of 35th national games held in Kerala, government were
requesting the star to perform in for the inaugural ceremony of 35th national
games held in the capital city Trivandrum at greenfield stadium, the audience
were filled with excitement that the band is performing, But once they started
to perform everyone was shocked to see that the band were doing lip-synced
performance with recorded songs, and everyone was really angry towards the
band, many of them left the stadium soon. The band got trolled in social medias
title its not "Lalisom" its 'LOL'ism. The video showing the lip-synced
performance is also getting viral. There were trolling even in the
official fans page of the star soon after the Saturday night show. People is
criticizing not only Lalettan but also the organizer Ratheesh Vega and also
other singers including Sujatha and Hariharan.
The directors Vinayan and Jude Anthony also
criticize the star for the worst performance on the show and fans were telling
to continue what he was doing and stop singing like this. Later the star sent
a email to the government by apologizing to all his people for the
worst performance and states that he hadn't use any of the money for his own
purposes but to meet the other expenses like food travel and accommodation of
the band.he also agreed to repay the amount of 1.68 crores
which is remaining from 2 crore for performing to the government, Reports state
that first they were thinking to give A.R.Rahman to perform for the event
but later they gave chance to this band.
The question still remains is that why the
government spend this much of money for a fresh band like this, even the top
bands like avial and thaikkudam bridge bills only 5-10 lakhs per show.
