Yes, Mani Ratnam is back after a series of flops with a good Romantic Drama film.
The technical aspects of movie is just awesome, the direction and camera was nice.Cinematography is done brilliantly by P.C Sreeram. As always we will love A.R Rahman for his beautiful mind blowing musical treat.The songs and BGM are really superb.
Coming back to Mani Ratnam he is the one,written directed and produced by him itself, and direction and visualization is really awesome. he has executed a superb story of 2 youngsters living together and the problems faced by them.
Coming to the cast:-
Dulquer Salman not just acted, he lived in the movie. Nitya Menon too was really good and the chemistry between them is so much Romantic and really awesome. Prakash Raj and Leela too acted nicely. Kaniha and B.V Doshi have cameo appearance in the movie.
The movie tell us the story of a young couple Aadi and Tara living together and later on it discusses about today's youth and new generation , the value of human relationships and how people treat relationships in the mindset of urban India.
First half deals with the introduction of both and how they tends to meet each other and follows by the life style and likes of both, which makes audience feel good with their performances.
Second half is little emotional and deals with some serious things happening which lags a lot and made the movie little disappointed. the movie ends in a way that make us think something was incomplete.
It's said that Fahad Fasil and Ram Charan was asked for doing the lead role but refused and also Alia Bhatt was considered female Lead which she too refused. Anyways Dq and Nitya just made it, really nice pair.
