‘Chicken Kokkachi’ Malayalam short film : Review
‘Chicken Kokkachi’ is a clean entertaining
comedy short film. But in YouTube it named as ‘Angine Avalkkum kittioru Pani(അങ്ങിനെ അവൾക്കും കിട്ടി പണി)’.
Don’t know why the team changed the name. Anyway
it is a mass comedy short film.
'Chicken Kokkachi' penned and directed by Anuranjan
Premji. Shabin Prabhakaran Puthalat is the producer of the film. Cinematography
handled by Sreerag and Cuts by Sajeesh. Music & Lyrics by Sruthi Lakshmi
& Mirshad Kaipamangalam respectively. The male voice is Yazin Nizar.
Kallu is the hero’s name. Kallu's character is a typical
malayali young men and it will reminds us of our self. Kallu came to a city as
part of his job hunting and he found a job in restaurant. The film shows the
scenes from restaurant in a comic way. Kallu’s performance was awsome. Even
that food inspector's mannerism is also good. Some of the scenes were too
hilarious. The style of narration was good not like the typical short films.
In some comedy scenes the BGM and actions will reminds us the
legend CHAPLIN. And there was one song which is simply fantastic. The music
team did a decent work. All together it was a very entertaining short film.
Verdict: Worth to watch
